About Us
If you have taken the time to visit this site, then you most probably want to make a difference. We can all make a difference, however small it might be, because the sum will be greater than the individual parts.
One Future Earth Ltd is hoping to promote awareness and trading of ethical and environmentally friendly merchandise to as many people as possible who would like to help us work as One to provide for the Future of our Earth.
People in many countries do not have access to national / world markets. Some do not even have access to food, clean water and shelter! But they don't just want donations - they want to work to develop trades which feed, clothe and house their families and which can be passed on to future generations.
We have established links with a former teacher, Esther Wanjohi, who helps and supports 42 families in Kenya by promoting their skills for the creation of jewellery, bags, fabrics, etc. This unique range of fine, creative, ethnic jewellery and accessories is now available on our website and via our Fair Trade parties.
In Tanzania, one of the poorer African countries, we are hoping to help fund the building of a boarding house for young school children by sourcing a variety of goods produced there locally.
We are also currently liaising with local schools to try and encourage a network of Fairtrade schools in the area and to highlight the plight of those less fortunate than ourselves to the next generations.
If you would like to know more, please contact us. Our Newsletter (which you can subscribe to by clicking on the Newsletter option and following the instructions) should keep you up-to-date with all our news and developments.
We can't make these ventures successful on our own, but together with your help, we can help to "make the Earth smile".
